Quentin

Quentin is a very special bird (number 11 /30), painted during my 30-day Instagram challenge: 30 birds, 30 original paintings, 30 days. Part of my ongoing body of work, Sacred Threads · Winged Messengers, this seagull carries a message of freedom, adaptability, resilience and trust in the journey.

Moving between land, sea and sky, the seagull reminds us that we are allowed to explore new horizons, change direction and discover who we are beyond the familiar.

Life moves in tides, sometimes carrying us into unexpected places. Even in shifting winds and restless waters, the seagull finds a way forward, reminding us that we can navigate change without losing ourselves.

Sometimes, we need to spread our wings and take action. Other times, we need to stop fighting the current and allow ourselves to be carried towards something new. We don’t always need to know exactly where we’re going to trust that we are moving forward.

Each of my Winged Messengers carries its own symbolism, energy and story, inviting you to discover the meaning that resonates with you. Perhaps Quentin has a reminder for you, too.
